He was born in 1956 in Karadayı village of Bünyan district of Kayseri province.

He studied primary school in Karadayı Village. He graduated from Kayseri Mimar Sinan High School and Teacher Training School in 1974 and worked as a teacher and administrator in various schools.

He started his higher education in 1975 and graduated from Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences in 1979, after graduating from Afyon Faculty of Financial Sciences. During this period, he worked as a financial advisor and teacher until he completed his military service.

He completed his short-term military service in 1982. After this period, he started his business life and construction consistency works began to be carried out.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Üsküdar District Motherland Party between 1993 and 1994.

He is currently a partner, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of nine companies, including Construction, Education, Health, Automotive, Tourism and Oflaz Foundation.

He is also a member of Balıkadamlar Sports Club, Kalamış Sailing Club, Üsküdar Music Society, and is married and has a son.
